About the Role
Teach engineering fluid mechanics with a naval specialization, conduct hydrodynamics research, and support curriculum, accreditation, and laboratory development.
Engage with maritime and naval industry partners and supervise student research.
Teaching and Labs
- Teach Engineering Fluid Mechanics for naval applications.
- Conduct hydrodynamics labs, CFD simulations, and experimental demonstrations.
- Prepare manuals, CLOs, OBE alignment, assessments, rubrics, and LMS content.
Research and Hydrodynamic Analysis
- Research ship hydrodynamic performance analytics.
- Research ocean modelling and environmental fluid mechanics.
- Research fluid-structure interaction and maritime CFD simulations.
- Publish in Scopus-indexed journals and present at conferences.
- Supervise research and CFD-based capstone projects.
Accreditation and Curriculum
- Support ABET and CAA accreditation through data collection, KPIs, and SSR contributions.
- Participate in curriculum review and continuous improvement.
