Role Overview
The role supports Amazon's Reliability Maintenance Engineering team, which maintains and optimizes technology across the warehouse and delivery network.
The position focuses on safety compliance, timely preventative maintenance, equipment availability, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Put health and safety best practices first and comply with all applicable standards and regulations.
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance on the full range of equipment within the site.
- React quickly to breakdowns, communicate with affected parties, and fix issues efficiently.
- Support continuous improvement by learning from breakdowns and providing feedback and suggestions.
- Provide high levels of equipment availability to internal customers.
- Support and learn from Senior Reliability Engineering Technicians.
- Manage contractors.
Basic Qualifications
- Experience in electrical, mechanical, electronics, communications, instrumentation, or controls work.
Preferred Qualifications
- At least one year of experience maintaining conveyors, automation, or control systems.
