The Role
Nord Anglia Education is recruiting a Facilities Manager for Etqan Global Academy in Doha, Qatar.
The role manages the school's buildings, grounds and infrastructure to provide a safe, secure and well-maintained environment.
The position supports teaching, learning and the wider school community.
Role Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operation of the school estate.
- Coordinate planned preventative maintenance and oversee reactive maintenance.
- Coordinate statutory inspections, testing and certification and support audits.
- Manage contractors and service providers working on site.
- Support refurbishment and capital improvement projects.
- Maintain asset registers, equipment records and maintenance histories.
- Support facilities budgets and procurement activities.
- Provide facilities support for events, examinations and emergencies.
The Successful Candidate
- A degree, diploma or equivalent qualification in Facilities Management, Engineering, Construction or a related discipline is required.
- Experience managing facilities operations in a complex operational environment is required.
- Experience coordinating maintenance programs and contractors is required.
- Good understanding of building maintenance, statutory compliance and facilities management is required.
- Strong organizational, communication and IT skills are required.
- CFM, FMP or an equivalent qualification is desirable.
- NEBOSH, IOSH or PMP, PRINCE2 or an equivalent project management qualification is desirable.
- Education-sector and/or GCC experience is desirable.
