Job Summary
The Facilities Engineer is responsible for ensuring the seamless operation, maintenance, and presentation of all building systems across high-end residential and commercial developments.
The role focuses on delivering exceptional service standards, maintaining asset value, and enhancing the overall resident and tenant experience in line with luxury brand expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operation and maintenance of all MEP systems, ensuring optimal performance across luxury properties.
- Manage and monitor HVAC systems, chillers, pumps, elevators, lighting systems, water features, and Building Management Systems (BMS).
- Implement and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance programs to uphold premium property standards.
- Coordinate with FM service providers, contractors, and specialist vendors to ensure timely and high-quality service delivery.
- Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality, Civil Defense, DEWA, and other UAE regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and condition assessments of assets and infrastructure.
- Monitor energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives, supporting cost optimization without compromising quality.
- Lead emergency response procedures, including system breakdowns, fire alarms, and critical incidents.
- Support project handover processes, including snagging, testing & commissioning, and documentation review.
- Maintain accurate records through CAFM systems, including maintenance logs, asset registers, and reports.
- Collaborate with property management and customer service teams to address tenant concerns promptly and professionally.
- Ensure all facilities reflect luxury standards in cleanliness, functionality, and aesthetics.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 5+ years of UAE experience in facilities management, preferably with luxury real estate developers or premium hospitality assets.
- Strong expertise in MEP systems, BMS operations, and lifecycle maintenance.
- Hands-on experience with high-rise residential towers, villas, or mixed-use luxury developments.
- Familiarity with UAE authority regulations and compliance standards.
- Proficiency in CAFM software and MS Office.
