What You’ll Be Doing

  • Define and drive medium to long term Business Banking strategy across all segments and portfolios.
  • Translate group ambitions into actionable execution strategies at portfolio and segment level.
  • Lead scenario planning across macroeconomic, regulatory, and competitive environments.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on growth, productivity, and transformation priorities.

Business Planning, Performance & Cost Management

  • Own the annual and multi year business planning cycle.
  • Drive performance monitoring across revenue, margins, balance sheet, and ROE.
  • Lead cost management and productivity initiatives to improve cost to income ratios.
  • Deliver executive dashboards and insights to support data driven decision making.

Segment & Portfolio Optimisation

  • Shape and refine strategies across Micro SME, SME, Commercial Banking, and specialised segments.
  • Partner with Product, Distribution, and Coverage teams to align propositions and go to market strategies.
  • Identify growth opportunities and white space using advanced analytics.

Digital Partnerships & Ecosystem Development

  • Define and execute digital partnership strategies across FinTechs, ERP platforms, and ecosystem partners.
  • Drive embedded finance and platform based propositions for SME clients.
  • Ensure partnerships deliver scalable commercial value and differentiated customer outcomes.

Applied AI & Advanced Analytics

  • Lead deployment of AI use cases including predictive analytics, SME advisory, and RM enablement tools.
  • Drive innovation in analytics led decisioning and customer engagement.
  • Ensure AI and analytics are embedded into core business platforms and processes.

Cyber Security & Fraud Analytics

  • Partner with Technology, Risk, and Security teams to leverage AI for fraud prevention and cyber resilience.
  • Strengthen protection across SME platforms and digital ecosystems.

Transformation & Execution Governance

  • Own and drive major cross functional strategic initiatives.
  • Ensure disciplined execution, governance, and measurable business outcomes.

Leadership & Stakeholder Management

  • Lead and develop a high performing Segmentation, Partnerships & AI team.
  • Represent Business Banking in executive forums, committees, and strategic discussions.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 20+ years of experience across banking, financial services, consulting, or FinTech.
  • Strong leadership experience in strategy, planning, or transformation roles.
  • Proven track record in developing and executing enterprise level strategies.
  • Deep understanding of Business Banking products, customer segments, and UAE/GCC market dynamics.
  • Strong exposure to digital banking, analytics, AI, and ecosystem based business models.
