- Oversee production management of all pastry and bakery goods for the hotel's food and beverage operation
- Ensure all company minimum brand standards and Food and Beverage Essentials are implemented
- Maximize associate productivity using multi skilling, multi tasking, and flexible scheduling
- Handle guest and internal customer complaints and inquiries courteously and efficiently
- Source marketing and public relations opportunities to increase awareness and business
Requirements
- Experience in pastry and bakery production management
- Strong leadership and team supervision skills
- Knowledge of financial management and productivity optimization

Administration
- Ensure culinary activities align with Corporate Strategy
- Assist in overseeing preparation and update of pastry departmental operations manual
- Conduct regular communications meetings
Guest Satisfaction
- Ensure guest contact associates deliver brand promise and exceptional service
- Spend time in culinary areas observing interactions and coaching associates
- Handle all guest and internal customer complaints and inquiries
Finance
- Maximize associate productivity using multi skilling, multi tasking, and flexible scheduling
- Direct associates to meet productivity standards
- Focus on improving productivity and managing utility/payroll costs
Marketing
- Source marketing and PR opportunities to increase awareness and business
- Evaluate local, national, and international market trends to keep operations competitive
Operations
- Oversee production management of all pastry and bakery goods
- Ensure all company minimum brand standards are implemented
- Respond to Consumer Audit results and implement changes
- Encourage creativity and innovation among associates
- Work closely with other management personnel
- Ensure associates are up to date with seasonal and new products
- Taste and monitor pastry and baked products
- Work with Chief Steward to maintain hygiene standards
- Supervise associates to ensure proper equipment care and minimize breakage
