Job Summary

  • The Executive Housekeeper at Shangri-La Jeddah is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and controlling all housekeeping activities, maintaining the established standards of cleanliness, orderliness and attractive condition of the public areas and heart-of-the-house areas.
  • By l eading and managing all housekeeping operations to ensure exceptional cleanliness, presentation, and guest satisfaction in alignment with Shangri-La’s luxury hospitality standards.
  • This role oversees guest rooms, public areas, laundry services, and back-of-house spaces, ensuring a consistently high-quality environment that reflects the brand’s commitment to excellence.
  • As an Executive Housekeeper, we rely on you to,
  • Ensure smooth housekeeping operations on a daily basis.
  • Lead the team and maintain a high standard of service.
  • Lead, supervise, and motivate the housekeeping team, including supervisors, room attendants, and laundry staff.
  • Maintain team performance and process flow.
  • Oversee the maintenance of guest rooms and replenish room supplies.
  • Ensure quality assurance standards are met at all times.
  • Ensure the quality of service delivered is compliant with hotel guidelines and policies.
  • Adheres to specified hygiene and personal appearance standards of the Hotel.
  • Maintains the highest standard of professionalism, ethics and attitude towards clients and colleagues.

What We Are Looking For

  • Has previous experience in a similar capacity from a luxury hotel preferably in GCC countries.
  • Takes pride in being a hotelier.
  • Enjoys interacting with people.
  • Fully understands room operations.
  • Must be detail-focused and guest-oriented.
  • Has high proficiency in both written and verbal English
  • Has strong interpersonal skills
  • Continuously looks for ways to develop themselves as well as others.
  • Is a friendly, helpful and trustworthy leader.
  • Leads by example.
  • Has no fear of new challenges.
