- Lead and mentor high performing development, design and project management teams
- Build and maintain strong relationships with government entities, consultants, contractors and joint venture partners
- Present project updates and strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board level stakeholders
- Identify opportunities to optimise development performance, improve efficiencies and maximise project value
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or related discipline (Master's preferred)
- 18+ years' experience within real estate development
- Significant leadership experience in the GCC
- Proven track record delivering large scale mixed use, residential, hospitality or commercial developments from inception through completion
- Strong understanding of development finance, feasibility analysis and commercial decision making
- Extensive experience managing multidisciplinary development teams
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with experience engaging government authorities and executive level decision makers
- Strong commercial acumen with ability to balance quality, programme, cost and risk
- Previous experience working for a leading real estate developer within the UAE is highly desirable

Overview
- Our client, a leading real estate developer in Abu Dhabi, is seeking an accomplished Executive Director – Development to lead the delivery of a diverse portfolio of landmark mixed use, residential, governmental housing projects and hospitality developments.
- This is a strategic executive leadership position responsible for overseeing the full development lifecycle, from land acquisition and feasibility through planning, design, approvals, procurement, construction and project handover.
- The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the company's development strategy while ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
- Working closely with the executive leadership team, you will lead multidisciplinary teams and manage relationships with consultants, contractors, government authorities, investors and key stakeholders.

Candidate Requirements
