About the Role

- Take ownership and responsibility for development of assigned products within Securities Services business
- Engage prospects in coordination with Client Management Team to grow the business
- Seek opportunities to increase product base and enhance revenue, while focused on cost optimization
- Work with Operations and ITD to embed new products and maintain support for existing services as a technical SME
- Guide Operations to highest standards based on strong technical knowledge of local post trade regulations and practices
- Maintain in depth understanding of local industry developments and ensure business adapts to changing regulation and client demand
- Maintain strong relationships with local securities depositary, exchange, and regulators
- Work closely with Client Management Team to develop Direct Custody & Clearing opportunities
- Act as Securities Services SME for existing UAE & Global Custody clients
- Oversee and coordinate local operational services with Group Operations Hub
- Manage RFI/RFPs and client Due Diligence visits
- Keep abreast of local regulatory changes impacting Fund Administration and Direct Custody & Clearing
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or related discipline; MBA or professional qualifications preferred
- 5 10 years of relevant experience in the banking sector
- Strategic thinker and agent for change
- Industrial sector expertise is essential
- Sound knowledge of compliance, legal/regulatory environments
- Proven track record of delivery against financial objectives
- Experience in building and managing teams of senior executives
- Strong influencing and coaching skills
- Good interpersonal, motivation, resource management & marketing oriented skills
- Experience handling large corporate accounts and winning new mandates
- P&L responsibility

Purpose

- Engage prospects in coordination with the Client Management Team to grow the business.
- Seek opportunities to increase product base and enhance revenue, whilst focused on cost optimization.
- Work with Operations and ITD to embed new products and maintain support existing services as a technical SME.
Key Responsibilities
- Product owner and SME for Custody, Fund Administration, Transfer Agency, Performance Measurement services.
- Guide Operations to the highest standards based on strong technical knowledge of local post trade regulations and practices.
- Maintain an in depth understanding of local industry developments, ensuring the local business adapts to comply with changing regulation and client demand.
- Maintain strong relationships with the local securities depositary, exchange and regulators.
- Work closely with the Client Management Team to develop Direct Custody & Clearing opportunities.
- Act as Securities Services SME for existing UAE & Global Custody clients.
- Oversee and coordinate the local operational services with the Group Operations Hub.
- Manage the RFI/RFPs clients Due Diligence visits.
- Keep abreast of local regulatory changes that impact the Fund Administration service and Direct Custody & Clearing.
- Owner of assigned Product Programs, including managing updates, governance, and Operational Risk matters.
Minimum Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in finance / business or related discipline. MBA and/or professional qualifications.
