Viola is looking for an Events Associate Account Director/Account Director to join our buzzing creative agency.
You will be responsible for leading client account management and the end-to-end delivery of events, ensuring creative excellence, operational efficiency, and financial control.
This role involves supervising internal teams, coordinating with external vendors, supporting business growth through client acquisition and proposal development, and aligning cross-functional efforts across business units to deliver exceptional experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage assigned retainer/non-retainer client accounts in line with yearly revenue targets.
- Provide clients with guidance and accurate event specifications.
- Actively meet new clients and present agency credentials and portfolio.
- Communicate and coordinate with other Business Units’ teams for joint accounts and cross-selling initiatives.
- Coordinate and supervise event activities including personnel, subcontractors, venues, and vendors while ensuring budget control.
- Manage the design and production of venue set-up diagrams.
- Supervise crew setup and implement operational procedures.
- Prepare and regularly update detailed event production checklists.
- Build and maintain a reliable events-related database of regional/international artists, venues, and vendors.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Oversee all planning estimates including project scope, schedule, and resources.
- Manage the team’s workload, prepare action plans, and ensure timely execution.
- Deliver regular progress and sales reports to the Events Director.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum 8+ years in Event management capacities.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in UAE.
- Multi sector experience is highly preferred.
- Past multinational/regional agency experience a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in mass communications, Business Administration or related field.
- Previous specialized training and/or certification is a plus.
