- Prepare accurate cost estimates for projects across Viola Communications’ service lines
- Review project briefs, technical specifications, designs, and client requirements to calculate material, labor, and time requirements
- Obtain and compare supplier and vendor quotations
- Assess production methods and ensure all relevant costs and contingencies are captured
- Collaborate with sales, production, procurement, and project management teams to support proposal development, pricing strategies, and budget planning
- Update and maintain cost databases
- Analyze variances between estimated and actual costs
- Contribute to continuous improvement of estimating processes and tools
Requirements
- Strong estimating, budgeting, and cost analysis skills
- Proficiency in using spreadsheets, estimating software, and ERP or project management tools
- Solid understanding of procurement processes, vendor management, and price comparison
- Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem solving abilities
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Relevant experience as an Estimator or in a similar cost focused role, ideally within communications, media, advertising, events, or related project based industry
- Familiarity with the UAE market, local suppliers, and regional pricing structures is highly advantageous
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Business, Quantity Surveying, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Ability to work on site in the United Arab Emirates, manage multiple bids and deadlines

Role Description
- The Estimator is a full time, on site role based in the United Arab Emirates, responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for projects across Viola Communications’ service lines.
- Review project briefs, technical specifications, designs, and client requirements to calculate material, labor, and time requirements.
- Obtain and compare supplier and vendor quotations, assess production methods, and ensure all relevant costs and contingencies are captured.
- Collaborate closely with sales, production, procurement, and project management teams to support proposal development, pricing strategies, and budget planning.
- Update and maintain cost databases, analyze variances between estimated and actual costs, and contribute to continuous improvement of estimating processes and tools.
Qualifications
