Job Description
- Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, BOQs, and contractual requirements.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and rate build-ups for Civil, Infrastructure, Structural, O&M, and MEP works.
- Prepare tender pricing, commercial proposals, clarifications, qualifications, exclusions, and assumptions.
- Prepare post-award valuations, payment applications, variations, and final accounts.
- Coordinate multiple projects and deadlines while applying strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and commercial skills.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years in construction estimation or quantity surveying, preferably including 5 or more years of GCC or Qatar experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil or Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or an equivalent field.
- Good knowledge of the Qatar construction market and preferably Ashghal or Qatar contractual practices.
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel and estimation or quantity surveying software such as Candy/CCS or equivalent.
