Equipment Engineer position with Penta Global Engineering and Construction in Abu Dhabi.

Key responsibilities
- Review equipment specifications, datasheets, and engineering deliverables.
- Coordinate with vendors, consultants, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Monitor equipment procurement, inspection, testing, and delivery activities.
- Review technical documents, drawings, and vendor documentation.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, applicable codes, and client requirements.
- Support equipment installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities.
- Coordinate with construction, QA/QC, and HSE teams for smooth project execution.
- Identify technical issues and provide effective engineering solutions.
- Maintain project documentation and complete assigned activities on time.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a relevant engineering discipline.
- 8–12 years of relevant experience in oil and gas, petrochemical, refinery, or EPC projects.
- Strong knowledge of static and rotating equipment applicable to the project.
- Experience in equipment engineering, procurement, inspection, and installation.
- Familiarity with international engineering codes and industry standards.
- Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Relevant project experience is an advantage.
- ADNOC project experience is preferred.

- The position is based in Abu Dhabi.
