About the Role

Responsibilities
- Oversee the configuration, maintenance, and performance of Finastra Equation core banking modules, including lending, deposits, payments, treasury, and trade finance
- Engage with stakeholders to capture business requirements, perform gap analysis, and translate them into effective technical solutions
- Customize system functionalities to support product development and operational improvements
- Provide advanced level support for system incidents, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
- Lead or contribute to system upgrades, data migrations, and integration with third party or internal banking applications
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards by supporting reporting frameworks and audit requirements
- Collaborate with cross functional teams across IT, operations, and business units to deliver end to end project outcomes
- Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT), prepare documentation, and deliver training to end users and stakeholders
Requirements
- Minimum 6+ years of experience working with Finastra Equation core banking systems in a technical or techno functional capacity
- Strong understanding of banking operations across retail, corporate, and treasury domains
- Proven experience in system implementation, upgrade, or production support environments
- Technical proficiency in IBM iSeries (AS/400) ecosystem, with working knowledge of COBOL, RPG, CL, and DB2 databases
- Familiarity with system integration concepts, including APIs and middleware frameworks within banking environments
- Strong analytical thinking, problem solving capability, and effective communication skills
- Relevant certifications in banking systems or Finastra solutions will be an advantage
- Exposure to Finastra suite products (such as Fusion Equation, Essence, or Digital Banking) and knowledge of regulatory frameworks like Basel, IFRS, and AML/KYC is preferred
