Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive ERM framework including policies, governance structures, risk taxonomy, and risk appetite definitions
- Establish risk management tools such as risk registers, scoring methodologies, heat maps, and reporting dashboards
- Lead risk identification workshops across various business functions and consolidate risks into an enterprise wide view
- Develop and track risk mitigation plans, ensuring accountability and effectiveness
- Set up and manage risk governance structures, including risk committees and reporting cadence
- Build and implement a Business Continuity Management (BCM) framework tailored to the organization's needs
- Conduct Business Impact Analysis (BIA) including identification of critical activities, dependencies, and recovery objectives (RTO/RPO)
- Develop business continuity and recovery strategies and plans
- Work closely with IT teams to align with disaster recovery processes
- Plan and execute crisis simulation exercises and ensure continuous improvement
- Deliver training sessions and awareness programs for stakeholders
- Develop SOPs and guidance materials to ensure sustainability of ERM & BCM practices
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), Business Continuity (BCM), or related roles
- Proven experience in building ERM and BCM frameworks from scratch
- Strong experience in conducting workshops (risk identification, BIA, etc.)
- Familiarity with frameworks such as ISO 31000, ISO 22301, or COSO
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience working with senior leadership and cross functional teams
- Relevant certifications (CRMA, PMI RMP, ISO) are a plus
- Prior experience in the UAE is preferred
