About the Role
Salt is seeking an experienced Enterprise Data Architect to lead the design, governance, and evolution of an enterprise-scale Data Lakehouse platform in Jeddah.

Responsibilities
- Own and govern the end to end Data Lakehouse architecture, covering data ingestion, storage, processing, consumption, and governance
- Define and enforce target state architecture, including Medallion (Bronze, Silver, Gold) design principles
- Ensure seamless integration across Cloudera, Teradata, Informatica, Denodo, and related data platforms
- Assess existing data architecture, identify gaps, and define remediation and modernization strategies
- Govern enterprise data models, data standards, aggregation frameworks, and reporting readiness
- Ensure compliance with data governance, security, metadata, lineage, and regulatory requirements
- Define architecture patterns for scalability, high availability, disaster recovery, and performance optimization
- Lead architecture reviews and collaborate with business, governance, security, and technology stakeholders
Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in Enterprise Data Architecture or related leadership roles
- Strong experience in Enterprise Data Architecture, Data Warehousing, and Data Lakehouse modernization
- Deep understanding of Medallion Architecture and enterprise data modeling frameworks
- Experience with Cloudera CDP (Spark, Hive, Kafka, HDFS), Teradata Vantage, Informatica BDM / PowerExchange, Denodo, and Kafka based data integration
- Strong knowledge of metadata management, data lineage, data quality, security, and governance frameworks
- Expertise in performance optimization, scalability planning, and resilient architecture design
- Strong BFSI domain experience with exposure to enterprise banking data models such as FSLDM and FSAS (preferred)
- Experience leading complex enterprise data platform programs in BFSI environments

Role Summary
- My client is seeking an experienced Enterprise / Data Architect to lead the design, governance, and evolution of an enterprise scale Data Lakehouse platform.
- The role will be responsible for ensuring architectural alignment across Cloudera, Teradata, Informatica, and Denodo ecosystems while driving platform modernization, remediation, governance, and future state expansion initiatives.
Key Responsibilities

Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience in Enterprise Data Architecture or related leadership roles.
- Experience leading complex enterprise data platform programs in BFSI environments.
- Architecture certifications and advanced data engineering background are advantageous.
