- Lead and supervise daily engineering operations, assigning tasks and monitoring performance
- Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance is carried out for all hotel equipment, rooms, and public areas
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and breakdowns to minimize guest impact
- Support the Chief Engineer in planning schedules, manpower allocation, and maintenance priorities
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and fire life safety regulations at all times
- Monitor energy consumption and support initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce costs
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, logs, and reports
- Coordinate with other departments to support smooth hotel operations
- Assist with training, coaching, and performance development of engineering team members
- Supervise external contractors and ensure quality and safety standards are met
Requirements
- Diploma or technical certification in Engineering, Electrical, Mechanical, or related field
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in hotel engineering or facility maintenance
- Prior supervisory or team leading experience preferred
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance systems
- Good understanding of safety standards, preventive maintenance, and compliance requirements
