What you will own

• Lead engineers across frontend, backend, and full-stack development.
• Own delivery for major product areas while protecting reliability and technical quality.
• Drive architecture decisions across APIs, databases, integrations, infrastructure, and customer-facing systems.
• Set standards for code quality, system design, testing, observability, security, and production reliability.
• Coach engineers, manage performance, address gaps, and build a high-performing team.
• Improve processes, tooling, automation, and engineering velocity.
• Monitor production, resolve incidents, identify root causes, and prevent recurrence.
• Build a culture of ownership, speed, technical excellence, and continuous improvement.

What we are looking for

• Strong software engineering background with experience shipping production systems.
• Experience leading or managing software engineers and owning engineering delivery.
• Technical depth across backend, frontend, APIs, databases, distributed systems, or cloud infrastructure.
• Ability to make architecture trade-offs balancing speed, scalability, and maintainability.
• Experience taking products or systems from idea through development, launch, and production.
• Ability to review designs, challenge decisions, and debug complex production issues.
• Strong people leadership, product sense, ownership, and communication skills.
• Ability to work with ambiguity, establish priorities, and connect engineering work to outcomes.
• Strong English communication is required for global teamwork.

Workplace

• This is a hybrid role requiring work from the local office at least three days per week.
• The remaining days offer flexibility to work remotely.
• Candidates should be based in, or able to work from, the advertised location.

Interview process

• The process includes an online assessment or practical task, a technical and engineering leadership interview, and a CEO or final round.
