The Role

What You'll Own

• Lead engineers across frontend, backend, and full-stack development.
• Own delivery for major product areas without compromising reliability or technical quality.
• Work with product, design, mobile, backend, and AI teams to execute on ambiguous product problems.
• Drive architecture decisions across APIs, databases, integrations, infrastructure, and customer-facing systems.
• Set standards for code quality, system design, testing, observability, security, and production reliability.
• Coach engineers, manage performance, improve processes, and build a high-performing engineering culture.
• Monitor production outcomes, resolve incidents, identify root causes, and prevent repeat problems.

What We're Looking For

• Strong software engineering experience building and shipping production systems.
• Experience leading or managing software engineers and owning engineering delivery.
• Technical depth across backend, frontend, APIs, databases, distributed systems, or cloud infrastructure.
• Ability to make trade-offs involving speed, scalability, maintainability, and technical quality.
• Experience taking products or systems from idea through launch and production.
• Ability to review designs, challenge decisions, and debug complex production issues.
• Strong people leadership, product sense, ownership, and ability to work through ambiguity.

The Bar

• Candidates should be able to explain personal contributions to building, shipping, or scaling a serious product, platform, or engineering organization.
• The role requires both technical depth and the ability to build a high-performing team that consistently delivers.

Location and Work Pattern

• This is a hybrid role requiring work from the local office at least three days per week.
• The remaining days provide flexibility to work remotely.
• Candidates should be based in, or able to work from, the advertised location.

Language

• English is the main working language across global teams, and strong English communication is required.

Interview Process

• The process includes an online assessment or practical task, a technical or engineering leadership interview, and a CEO or final round.
• The company aims to complete the process and make an offer within one week from the start of interviews for strong candidates.
