About The Ned Doha
The Ned Doha is a luxury hospitality destination in Doha housed in a former Ministry of Interior building.
The property includes seven dining concepts, 90 bedrooms, event spaces, a private members’ club, spa, gym, and outdoor pool.
The Role
The Engineering Coordinator joins the hotel engineering team and supports engineering administration and operations.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Manage the DOE and PR diary autonomously.
- Prepare and issue reports, drawings, presentations, correspondence, and other documents.
- Process invoices, arrange meetings, record action points, and coordinate administrative activities.
- Follow up on contracts, visa documentation, starter documents, airline advice, and reservations with other departments.
- Prepare power consumption, logbook, preventive maintenance, attendance, payroll, and other management reports.
- Monitor HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other hotel technical systems.
- Assist with engineering procurement and inventory management.
- Maintain maintenance logs, service requests, and repair histories.
- Support engineering projects and liaise with contractors, vendors, and suppliers.
- Support regulatory compliance and respond to emergencies affecting guest services.
- Assist with engineering maintenance and upgrade reports and budgets.
Qualifications & Competencies
- At least two years of experience in an engineering or facilities coordinator role is required.
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical building systems is required.
- Strong organization, communication, collaboration, attention to detail, and task-prioritization skills are required.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and sustainability practices in hospitality is required.
