Testing and Quality Responsibilities

• Design, maintain, and execute functional, regression, integration, API, and UI test cases.
• Develop and maintain automated UI and API test scripts using approved automation frameworks.
• Identify, document, triage, and perform root-cause analysis on defects.
• Participate in planning, backlog grooming, and requirements reviews to ensure testability and clarity.
• Ensure features meet acceptance criteria, non-functional requirements, and internal quality standards before release.
• Collaborate with developers to reproduce issues and validate fixes.

Release and QA Operations

• Conduct smoke, sanity, and release-validation testing for each deployment.
• Execute performance, load, and security test scenarios where required.
• Maintain test plans, test reports, regression suites, and other QA documentation.
• Support continuous improvement of testing processes, automation coverage, and QA tooling.
• Conduct environment validation, data validation, and test-data preparation.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field.
• Five to seven years of QA or testing experience in software development using Python or Golang.
• ISTQB Foundation certification or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Hands-on experience with test management tools.
• Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar.
• Strong API testing skills using Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools.
• Working knowledge of SQL, databases, and data validation.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines such as GitLab, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
• Understanding of Git, SDLC, Agile, and DevOps practices.
• Experience with JMeter or Locust is a plus.
• Basic understanding of security testing concepts and OWASP Top 10.
