Role Overview

Responsibilities

• Assume the role of Engineer under the contract and report to the Employer's Representative.
• Carry out project administration, scheduling, and project management activities under contract and employer procedures.
• Assure Contractor and Supervision Consultant implementation of health and safety and QA/QC policies.
• Ensure compliance with company internal processes and procedures.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and advice to Contractor and Consultant teams.
• Promote a productive work environment, team culture, and transparent communication.
• Deliver contract administration and manage payments in accordance with contract terms.
• Administer contracts and manage Supervision Consultant resource requirements.
• Maintain contact with the Employer, provide reports, and address concerns.
• Participate in safety leadership meetings, health and safety initiatives, and weekly site tours.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or Project Management.
• 20 or more years of experience as an Engineer or Contract Administrator on major complex projects.
• Experience delivering transport infrastructure, utilities, buildings, and large mixed-use development projects.
• Experience administering contracts under FIDIC forms.
• Previous work experience in the Middle East.
• Ability to interface with the Employer's Representative, contractors, supervision consultants, and senior health and safety leadership.
• Fluent spoken and written English.
• Membership in a professional construction management society or another recognized professional body is a plus.

Work Setting

• The role includes participation in weekly site tours with the Health and Safety Manager and other project personnel.
