Role Overview

Technical Responsibilities

• Review ELV, ICT, structured cabling, fibre backbone, containment, pathways, communications rooms, data rooms, and technical submittals.
• Coordinate CCTV, video management, access control, intrusion detection, intercom, security networks, and integration points.
• Review security screening equipment interfaces, vendor requirements, power and data provisions, spatial coordination, and operational integration.
• Review public address, voice alarm, emergency communication, master clock, IPTV, BMS integration, and other low-current systems.
• Coordinate specialist vendor packages and technical interfaces across power, data, civil, and operational requirements.
• Check submissions against specifications, design intent, authority requirements, codes, standards, and operational requirements.

Coordination and Close-Out

• Coordinate ELV, ICT, and security interfaces with electrical, MEP, architecture, structure, fire life safety, IT, BIM, and contractor teams.
• Support model-based coordination of containment, equipment rooms, risers, pathways, cable trays, device locations, and access clearances.
• Support testing, commissioning, FAT and SAT reviews, systems integration planning, handover readiness, and technical close-out.
• Track submittals, comments, vendor responses, RFIs, technical queries, interface actions, and outstanding approvals.
• Participate in technical meetings, vendor workshops, design reviews, client reviews, and authority document reviews.
• Prepare technical review comments, vendor correspondence, issue summaries, and close-out documentation.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical, electronics, telecommunications, ICT engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least seven years of ELV, ICT, telecommunications, security systems, or low-current engineering experience on major projects.
• Strong structured cabling and fibre backbone knowledge using ISO/IEC 11801, TIA-568, BICSI practice, or equivalent standards.
• Strong competence in CCTV, video management, access control, intrusion detection, security networks, and applicable UAE authority requirements.
• Working knowledge of public address and voice alarm requirements, including NFPA 72 and applicable Dubai Civil Defence expectations.
• Experience reviewing vendor documents and tracking interfaces for ICT, ELV, security, ITS, or screening-equipment packages.
• Testing and commissioning awareness, including FAT, SAT, integrated systems testing, handover, and operational readiness.
• Fluent written and spoken English for technical reviews, correspondence, and coordination.

Preferred Qualifications

• At least four years reviewing ICT and ELV submittals for large campus, industrial, transport, airport, or major building projects.
• Experience with Navisworks, Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and model-based ELV or ICT coordination.
• Airport, aviation, large industrial, transport, campus, or major building project experience.
• Prior exposure to EPC contractor environments or contractor-side vendor coordination workflows is advantageous.
• RCDD, BICSI, SIRA-related training, or an equivalent professional certification is advantageous.
• Arabic language skills are advantageous.
