Electrical Inspectors will need to be knowledgeable in inspecting conduit installations, wire pulls, reading plans and drawings, reading and interpreting the wire and interconnect list, knowing the National Electric Code (NFPA 70) especially Section 500 of hazardous area locations, reviewing client’s electrical specifications, commissioning equipment, participating with client’s lockout/tag out procedure, etc. The electrical Inspector will need to ensure the Third-Party Contractor performs these tasks in compliance with client’s Electrical Specification, plans and drawings, and NFPA 70. The Electrical Inspector will need to work with the client and its Third-Party Contractors to complete the necessary Work.
