About the Role
Dar is seeking an Electrical ELV Engineer for site supervision, inspection, testing, and commissioning of ELV systems. The role requires reviewing designs, coordinating with teams, and ensuring compliance with standards.

Responsibilities
- Site supervision, inspection, testing, commissioning and installation of all elements related to ELV systems
- Review ELV designs and electrical drawings, reports, specifications and materials submitted by contractors
- Ensure effective Building Management System (BMS) integration and data collection
- Coordinate with other departments on engineering issues and alignment of project design standards
- Assist Quantity Surveyor in determining cost of completed work for payment certificates
- Ensure quality of materials and workmanship in accordance with standards
- Participate in schedule review meetings, progress meetings, and coordination meetings
- Manage overall performance of team members
- Work in line with HSE Policy and ensure compliance
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
- 8+ years of experience in site supervision, inspection, testing, commissioning, and installation of ELV systems
- Solid understanding of Electrical ELV systems

Key Responsibilities
- Site supervision, inspection, testing, commissioning and installation of all elements related to ELV systems.
- Review ELV designs and electrical drawings, reports, specification and materials submitted by the contractor(s).
- Effective Building Management System (BMS) integration and data collection of alarms, inputs and outputs and systems.
- Coordination with other department on engineering issues, alignment of project design standards and review of risks/deviations/derogations.
- Assist the Quantity Surveyor in determining cost of completed work for the preparation of related payment certificates.
- Ensure that the quality of materials used in construction, quality of all equipment’s installed and the workmanship are in accordance with DAR standards.
- Participate schedule review meeting, monthly progress meeting, coordination meeting, and constructability review meeting.
- Manage the overall performance of team members by ensuring that their performance is reviewed in a timely manner.
- Works in line with HSE Policy, and ensure awareness and compliance with HSE rules and regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
- 8+ years of experience in Site supervision, inspection, testing, commissioning and installation of all elements related to ELV systems.
- Solid understanding of Electrical ELV systems.
