Responsibilities
- Prepare and bake a variety of fresh breads following recipes and production schedules
- Cut, trim, and prepare meat cuts to customer specifications
- Clean, cut, fillet, and prepare seafood according to customer specifications
- Assist chefs with food preparation, cooking, and plating in the kitchen
- Stock and display products attractively, rotate stock using FIFO principles
- Maintain hygiene and cleanliness standards in the assigned section
Requirements
- Experience in fresh food roles (baker, butcher, fishmonger, commis chef, or stocker)
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
