About the Role

Join the dedicated team of educators at The British International School Abu Dhabi as an EAL Coordinator.

Support students and staff across a school offering the English national curriculum through IGCSE and the IB Diploma Programme.

Role Responsibilities

  • Coordinate EAL provision and support across the school.
  • Inspire staff and students of all ages and abilities.
  • Contribute to student progress, pastoral care, and a culture of inspiration, enjoyment, and success.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with parents to maximise student progress.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and share professional expertise.
  • Participate fully in the extracurricular and wider life of the school.

About You

  • Have strong experience as an EAL Coordinator within the UK national curriculum.
  • Bring a passion for education and a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Communicate effectively and build strong working relationships across the school community.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and open-mindedness in a fast-paced international environment.
  • International education experience is an added advantage.
