Job Purpose

  • To lead the end to end e commerce business by driving online sales, maximizing profitability, enhancing customer experience, managing digital content, and ensuring accurate and engaging product presentation across all online sales channels.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the overall e commerce sales strategy to achieve monthly and annual revenue targets.
  • Drive sales across all online channels including the company website, marketplaces, and social commerce platforms.
  • Monitor daily sales performance, conversion rates, average order value (AOV), and customer acquisition metrics.
  • Identify growth opportunities through promotions, pricing strategies, and seasonal campaigns.
  • Analyze sales trends and recommend corrective actions to improve performance.
  • Manage product mix to maximize revenue and profitability.
  • Ensure all product listings are accurate, complete, and SEO optimized.
  • Create and maintain high quality product descriptions, specifications, and feature highlights.
  • Coordinate professional product photography, videos, and lifestyle images.
  • Maintain consistency in branding, tone of voice, and visual presentation.
  • Ensure product categorization and navigation are customer friendly.
  • Manage multilingual product content where required.

Content Creation & Brand Storytelling

  • Develop engaging content for product launches, promotions, and campaigns.
  • Create content calendars aligned with business objectives.
  • Oversee creation of product videos, social media content, blog articles, landing pages, email campaigns, buying guides, and product comparisons.
  • Lead marketing teams for campaign execution.
  • Ensure all creative content reflects brand identity.

Digital Marketing

  • Lead Digital Marketing teams on paid advertising, Google Shopping, SEO, SEM, email marketing, affiliate marketing, and influencer campaigns.
  • Optimize campaign ROI.
  • Monitor customer acquisition cost (CAC) and return on ad spend (ROAS).

Marketplace Management

  • Manage online marketplace operations including Amazon, Noon, Carrefour Marketplace, and other regional marketplaces.
  • Responsibilities include listing optimization, marketplace promotions, Buy Box management, pricing competitiveness, marketplace compliance, and seller performance monitoring.

Inventory & Stock Planning

  • Coordinate with Purchase and Warehouse teams.
  • Monitor inventory availability.
  • Prevent stock outs and overstock situations.
  • Plan inventory based on sales forecasts.
  • Recommend replenishment quantities.
  • Ensure discontinued products are removed promptly.

Website Performance & User Experience

  • Continuously improve website usability and customer journey.
  • Optimize homepage, landing pages, product pages, search functionality, and checkout process.
  • Improve conversion rates through A/B testing.
  • Work with developers to resolve website issues.

Customer Experience Management

  • Monitor customer reviews and ratings.
  • Improve online shopping experience.
  • Coordinate complaint resolution.
  • Reduce return rates.
  • Improve customer satisfaction scores.
  • Enhance post purchase communication.

Team Leadership

  • Lead and mentor the e commerce team.
  • Allocate responsibilities effectively.
  • Set KPIs and performance goals.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews.
  • Identify training and development needs.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, E Commerce, Digital Marketing, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications in E Commerce, Digital Marketing, Google Ads, SEO/SEM, or Marketplace Management will be an advantage.
  • 8–12 years of proven experience in E Commerce / Digital Commerce, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership or head role.
  • Strong experience managing regional e commerce operations across Middle East, Europe, or Africa markets.
  • Proven track record of driving online revenue growth, profitability, and customer acquisition.
  • Experience in FMCG (Food & Non Food), Consumer Electronics, Retail, Distribution, or Marketplace businesses is highly preferred.
  • Hands on experience managing B2C and marketplace channels including Amazon, Noon, Carrefour Marketplace, company websites, and social commerce platforms.
