Responsibilities
- Greet guests, visitors and residents with a friendly and professional manner
- Open and close the Hotel doors upon arrival and departure
- Open and close the car/taxi doors for guests upon arrival and departure
- Assist guests with baggage, packages, briefcases etc.
- Assist guests with directions and general information
- Organize taxis or Hotel transportation if requested
- Coordinate with Concierge and reception when necessary
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the main Hotel lobby
- Monitor the Hotel entrance area to ensure safety and security
- Distribute newspaper to guest rooms and other areas as necessary
- Handle guests’ requests/enquiries in a professional and helpful manner
- Ensure proper records are maintained for all guests’ deliveries
Requirements
- Completed Secondary School education
- 2 years in similar position in a five star hotel
- Basic computer knowledge
- Strong orientation towards customer service
- Highly organized and proactive and able to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
- Effective Communication
- Attention to detail
- Excellent spoken and written English

Job Summary
- The Door Attendant is responsible for ensuring that all guests are warmly greeted according to the Hotel standards and assist with luggage.
- This includes assisting guests with loading and unloading luggage, opening the car door, hotel door, escorting them to the reception desk and introducing them to the receptionist along with the guest’s name.
- The role requires anticipating guest needs, responding promptly to requests, and always maintaining a courteous and friendly demeanor.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests, visitors and residents with a friendly and professional manner.
- Open and close the Hotel doors upon arrival and departure.
- Maintains a high level of knowledge about Meydan Hotel facilities and services as well as Dubai and other Meydan properties.
- Open and close the car/ taxi doors for the guests, visitors and residents upon arrival and departure.
- Communicate with guests effectively, well responds in timely manner.
- Works in a team, i.e. caring about other team members and different nationalities.
- Assist the guests with directions and general information.
- Welcomes guests and assist with baggage, packages, briefcases etc.
- Establishes a good rapport with the guests.
- Monitor the Hotel entrance area to ensure safety and security.
- Assist the guest with luggage or packing if required.
- Organize taxis or Hotel transportation if requested.
Skills, Experience & Educational Requirements
- Completed Secondary School education.
- 2 years in similar position in a five star hotel.
- Basic computer knowledge.
