- Conduct one on one and group dog training sessions
- Develop customized training plans based on each dog's needs and behavior
- Train puppies and adult dogs in obedience, socialization, and good manners
- Assess behavioral concerns and implement appropriate behavior modification programs
- Educate pet owners on effective training techniques and home exercises
- Maintain accurate training records and monitor each dog's progress
- Work closely with the daycare and boarding teams to reinforce training goals
- Safely handle dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments
- Ensure a safe, positive, and stress free training environment
- Maintain training equipment and keep training areas clean and organized
- Communicate professionally with clients and provide regular progress updates
- Promote Dogwalk's training services through exceptional customer service
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of professional dog training experience
- Strong understanding of canine behavior, body language, and learning principles
- Experience with obedience training, puppy training, and behavior modification
- Ability to manage reactive, anxious, or challenging dogs using positive reinforcement methods
- Excellent communication and client education skills
- Dog training certifications are an advantage
- Excellent English communication skills

Position Overview

- Ability to manage reactive, anxious, or challenging dogs using positive reinforcement methods.
- Excellent communication and client education skills.
- Patient, professional, and confident working with dogs of all breeds and sizes.
- Dog training certifications are an advantage.
