Responsibilities
- Supervise dogs during daycare and boarding while ensuring their safety at all times
- Monitor dog behavior and manage playgroups based on size, temperament, and energy levels
- Recognize signs of stress, illness, injury, or aggression and immediately report concerns
- Safely separate dogs when necessary using low stress handling techniques
- Feed dogs according to individual schedules and dietary instructions
- Administer medications as instructed by management or veterinary team
- Walk, exercise, and enrich dogs through structured play and mental stimulation
- Maintain clean and sanitized play areas, kennels, feeding stations, and equipment
- Assist with check ins and check outs when required
- Support transportation, grooming, hydrotherapy, or other departments when needed
- Monitor boarding dogs overnight or during assigned shifts when required
- Follow all company health, safety, hygiene, and animal welfare procedures
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of professional experience working with dogs in a daycare, boarding facility, kennel, veterinary clinic, shelter, grooming salon, or similar environment
- Genuine passion for dogs and animal welfare
- Confident handling dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments
- Good understanding of canine body language and behavior
- Physically fit and comfortable standing, walking, lifting, and working in an active environment
- Calm, patient, and able to remain composed in challenging situations
- Team player with positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Basic English communication skills

Position Overview
- Dogwalk is seeking a responsible, energetic, and experienced Dog Handler to join our Operations team.
- The successful candidate will supervise group play sessions, ensure the safety and well being of all dogs, maintain high cleanliness standards, and provide excellent daily care while working closely with the rest of the team.

Ideal Candidate
- A genuine passion for dogs and animal welfare is essential.
- Minimum 1 year of professional experience working with dogs in a daycare, boarding facility, kennel, veterinary clinic, shelter, grooming salon, or similar environment is preferred.
- Confident handling dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments.
- Good understanding of canine body language and behavior.
