Position Overview
We are looking for a hardworking, reliable, and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of all facility areas while ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for the animals in our care.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize kennels, catteries, daycare areas, grooming rooms, hydrotherapy rooms, and common areas
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and disinfect floors and surfaces
- Clean and maintain toilets, staff areas, and reception areas
- Dispose of waste and maintain proper hygiene standards
- Refill cleaning supplies and report inventory shortages
- Follow facility cleaning schedules and protocols
- Assist with laundry duties, including washing and organizing pet bedding and towels
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored
- Follow all health, safety, and infection control procedures
- Work closely with the operations team to maintain facility standards
Requirements
- Previous cleaning experience is preferred
- Previous experience working with animals is highly preferred
- Comfortable working around dogs and cats of all sizes
- Physically fit and able to perform cleaning duties throughout the day
- Good attention to detail and hygiene standards
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
- Basic English communication skills preferred
