Role Description
Oversee and optimise the end-to-end distribution process so products are delivered efficiently, accurately, and on schedule.
Coordinate distribution activities, manage operational workflows, and support communication across logistics, warehouse, sales, suppliers, and other teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan distribution operations and coordinate order fulfilment and delivery schedules.
- Monitor inventory movement and optimise transportation and distribution costs.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and operational standards.
- Identify process improvements, resolve delivery and operational issues, and implement effective solutions.
- Monitor key performance indicators and improve service quality and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of distribution, logistics, order fulfilment, inventory control, and supply chain operations.
- Ability to plan and coordinate distribution activities while maintaining accuracy and delivery efficiency.
- Ability to monitor performance and identify process and cost improvement opportunities.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems, warehouse management systems, ERP platforms, or related tools.
- Understanding of transportation planning, delivery coordination, stock movement, and distribution documentation.
- Ability to analyse operational data, prepare reports, and use performance metrics for decisions.
- Strong organisation, problem-solving, decision-making, communication, coordination, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and changing business requirements.
- Knowledge of distribution compliance, safety procedures, and quality standards is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar tools is preferred.
