Responsibilities
- Wash, sanitize, and store dishes, glassware, cutlery, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils
- Operate dishwashing machines and ensure proper handling of cleaning equipment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area, kitchen floors, and waste disposal areas
- Ensure all cleaning and sanitation procedures comply with company policies and food safety regulations
- Assist kitchen staff with basic cleaning and support duties as required
- Remove garbage and recycling materials and ensure waste is disposed of properly
- Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and report shortages to supervisors
- Support receiving and storing deliveries when required
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times
- Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient working environment
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment preferred but not required
- Basic understanding of hygiene, sanitation, and workplace safety standards
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and perform physically demanding tasks
- Strong attention to cleanliness and organization
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays

Position Summary
