Role overview
Join a small founding engineering team building a new AI-powered product from the ground up.
The role has significant influence over architecture, engineering practices, team structure, technical standards, and culture.
The product combines startup-level speed and ownership with ServiceNow's resources, scale, and distribution.
Responsibilities
- Own technical strategy and delivery for engineering teams while maintaining quality and reliability standards.
- Hire, coach, and develop engineers, technical leads, and managers.
- Lead the evolution of solutions toward AI-native capabilities, including agentic patterns, data utilization, and autonomous workflows.
- Establish architecture patterns, engineering standards, and operating rhythms for the problem domain.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, Security, Operations, Sales, and Customer Success on roadmap, releases, compliance, and customer feedback.
- Document tradeoffs and implementation guidance, and share effective patterns across the broader organization.
Requirements
- 15 or more years of related engineering experience, including 7 or more years leading and managing engineering teams for a product at scale.
