Job Overview

  • Director of Sales at AccorHotel in Doha, Qatar.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identifies prospective accounts and establishes goals for Key Accounts.
  • Attends fairs to represent the Hotel and/or region.
  • Priority in sales activities given to domestic market.
  • International market worked in close co ordination with General Manager.
  • Regular meetings with hotel operations to exchange information and problem solving.
  • Reduces administrative work to achieve minimum 5 7 personal sales calls and 10 telephone sales calls per day.
  • Prepares and transmits Call Reports weekly and Monthly Report.
  • Establishes and signs contracts with local and international operators/corporate accounts.
  • Conducts rate market surveys.
  • Ensures staff training and maintains monthly overview of vacation and public holiday balances.
  • Assumes responsibility of Duty Manager when scheduled.
