Job Overview
- As the property's strategic financial business partner, the Director of Finance leads the development and implementation of financial and operational strategies that drive sustainable growth.
- Responsible for leading the hotel's finance and accounting functions, ensuring strong financial performance, compliance, accurate reporting, effective internal controls, and strategic financial planning.
- Acts as a key business partner to the Executive Committee and supports achievement of operational and commercial goals.
Financial Strategy & Planning
- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the hotel's business objectives.
- Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long range planning processes.
- Monitor budget performance and recommend corrective actions when necessary.
- Support revenue optimization and profitability improvement initiatives.
Financial Reporting
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting to hotel management, owners, and Accor corporate offices.
- Analyze financial results and provide insights to support business decisions.
- Monitor key performance indicators and financial trends.
Financial Control & Compliance
- Maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Ensure compliance with Accor policies, accounting standards, tax regulations, and local laws.
- Coordinate internal and external audits and implement audit recommendations.
- Manage risk assessments and financial governance processes.
Team Leadership
- Lead, coach, and develop the finance and accounting team.
- Establish performance objectives and succession plans.
- Promote a culture of accountability, compliance, and continuous improvement.
