Overview
The ideal candidate combines strong project management capabilities with expertise in real estate development, financial analysis, stakeholder coordination, and municipal approvals.
Project Leadership & Execution
- Lead all phases of real estate development projects including acquisition, due diligence, planning, entitlement, design, financing, construction, and close-out.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and development timelines.
- Coordinate internal teams and external consultants including architects, engineers, contractors, legal counsel, and municipal authorities.
- Identify and mitigate project risks throughout the development process.
Financial & Strategic Oversight
- Prepare and evaluate development pro formas, budgets, cash flow projections, and investment analyses.
- Monitor project financial performance and ensure alignment with return objectives.
- Support capital sourcing efforts including lender, investor, and partner relationships.
- Provide strategic recommendations regarding acquisitions, land use, and development opportunities.
Entitlements & Approvals
- Manage zoning, permitting, and entitlement processes with local municipalities and regulatory agencies.
- Lead community engagement efforts and presentations to planning commissions, councils, and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory, environmental, and legal requirements.
Construction & Delivery
- Oversee construction execution in collaboration with construction managers and general contractors.
- Review project progress, change orders, cost reports, and quality standards.
- Ensure successful project delivery and transition to operations, leasing, or asset management teams.
Team & Stakeholder Management
- Mentor and manage development staff and project teams.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, consultants, contractors, government officials, and investors.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with acquisitions, finance, legal, construction, and asset management teams.
