About the Role

Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the enterprise data strategy aligned with HALA's business objectives and digital transformation roadmap
- Establish a modern, scalable, and secure data ecosystem supporting analytics, AI, reporting, and operational decision making
- Lead and develop the Data Engineering, BI, Analytics, and Data Governance teams
- Oversee the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise data platforms, data warehouses, and data lakes
- Ensure reliable data pipelines integrating payment systems, merchant platforms, financial systems, CRM, and operational applications
- Drive automation, scalability, availability, and performance of data infrastructure
- Collaborate with Engineering to establish enterprise data architecture standards
- Deliver executive dashboards and KPI reporting for senior management and Board Committees
- Establish enterprise wide data governance policies, standards, and ownership models
- Define data quality controls, metadata management, master data management, and data lifecycle processes
- Ensure data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and integrity across all systems
- Ensure data management practices comply with SAMA regulatory requirements, NCA Cybersecurity Controls, PDPL, and internal security standards
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
- 8 10 years of progressive experience in Data Engineering, Analytics, Business Intelligence, or Data Management
- 5+ years in a leadership role managing enterprise data teams
- Fluent in English and Arabic
- Experience in fintech, banking, or financial services preferred

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 8 10 years of progressive experience in Data Engineering, Analytics, Business Intelligence, or Data Management.
- 5+ years in a leadership role managing enterprise data teams.
- Experience in fintech, banking, or financial services is preferred.
- Fluent in English and Arabic.
- Strong analytical and reconciliation skills.
