Responsibilities
- Drive short term, annual, and multi year business strategies to achieve divisional sales and profit targets across the region
- Monitor external market trends and partner with key industry leaders to identify shifts that drive business value, with a specific focus on Heavy Industry and Mining sectors
- Identify disruption opportunities, connect them to strategic business reviews, and paint a long term vision that aligns resources accordingly
- Develop marketing strategies, value propositions, compelling messaging, and market positioning tailored to industrial and mining customers
- Identify and capture customer problems and opportunities, examining regional patterns to develop short and long term product development strategies
- Consolidate and communicate a 3 year innovation pipeline that reflects customer needs, competitive offerings, and evolving market priorities
- Drive a robust portfolio of innovative solutions and accelerate market adoption of digital and data driven approaches
- Explore and deploy new value capture models and create new revenue streams within the industrial segment
- Lead, manage, and develop a high performing, inclusive team across the region
- Drive results through knowledge based relationships across departments, divisions, and customer organizations to foster cross functional collaboration
- Leverage corporate and key account teams to drive differentiated programs that generate new business, grow existing accounts, and retain top clients
- Lead the execution of customer seminars and industry specific events across the MEA region
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- 10+ years of experience in Marketing within a B2B environment
- Demonstrated experience leading a marketing function for a division or product line within a Heavy Industrial organization
- Proven track record of defining and executing marketing vision and strategy at a regional or international level
- Experience leading and coaching high performing marketing teams
- Strong ability to engage with influential stakeholders and navigate complex organizational structures
- Excellent communication skills across all levels of an organization
- Demonstrated initiative and leadership: setting vision and strategy, critical thinking, cross functional orchestration, and managing multiple concurrent projects
- Ability to inspire teams, foster breakthrough thinking, and move new ideas forward effectively
- Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and well grounded understanding of B2B solution (outcome based) selling
- Familiarity with digital innovation and its application in industrial environments
- Project management experience

Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering; 10+ years of experience in Marketing within a B2B environment.
- Demonstrated experience leading a marketing function for a division or product line within a Heavy Industrial organization (Air Gases, Steel, Aluminium, Mining, or Industrial Chemicals strongly preferred).
- Proven track record of defining and executing marketing vision and strategy at a regional or international level.
- Experience leading and coaching high performing marketing teams.
- Strong ability to engage with influential stakeholders and navigate complex organizational structures.
- Excellent communication skills across all levels of an organization, with strong oral, written, and presentation abilities.
- Demonstrated initiative and leadership: setting vision and strategy, critical thinking, cross functional orchestration, and managing multiple concurrent projects.
