About the Role
Standard Chartered Bank seeks a Director, Market Products Specialist for AME in Dubai to provide cross-asset structured product advisory and execution for Private Bank and Affluent Banking clients.

Responsibilities
- Provide Cross Asset Structured Product Advisory and Execution for RMs, Investment Advisors and Investment Councillors
- Systematically provide cross asset Structured Product, market and product information and execution for clients, RMs, Investment Advisors
- Manage Ultra High Net Worth / Family office / EAM clients from a Structured Product Dealing and Advisory perspective
- Engage and Interact closely with UHNW customers, RMs, Investment Advisors and Portfolio Advisors to proactively identify Structured Product solutions
- Analyse client portfolios for product life cycle management
- Prepare and present trade ideas to the Private Bank and Affluent Bank
- Build and manage lasting and trusted relationships with all Clients, RM’s, Investment Advisor’s, other colleagues and Professional Trading counterparties
- Represent the Structured Product business on various client, industry and other forums
- Conduct new RM inductions and Structured Product Roadshows / Calls
- Efficient and timely execution of trades
- Attend RM and client meetings and participate in RM / Client conference calls
- Provide high standards of client sales, advisory and after sales service
Requirements
- Degree(s) in relevant subjects such as Business, Economics and Finance related preferred
- Experience in banking, wealth management preferred
- Keen interest in financial and equity markets
- Effective communication and sales skills
- Well organised, disciplined approach to work with a high level of attention to details
- Computer literature and competent in spreadsheet presentation
- Derivatives and Structured Product Experience (particularly pricing, execution, marketing and sales)
- Basic analytical and technical skills that can be practically applied to day to day operations
- Knowledge in Excel

Job Summary
- Provide Cross Asset Structured Product Advisory and Execution for RMs, Investment Advisors and Investment Councillors to achieve Investment returns for customers of the Private Bank and Affluent Banking.
- Systematically provide cross asset Structured Product, market and product information and execution for clients, RMs, Investment Advisors across all client segments.

Qualifications
- Degree(s) in relevant subjects such as Business, Economics and Finance related preferred.
- Experience in banking, wealth management preferred.
- Keen interest in financial and equity markets.
- Effective communication and sales skills.
- Well organised, disciplined approach to work with a high level of attention to details.
- Computer literature and competent in spreadsheet presentation.
- Experience in Macros and VBA would be a plus.
- Strong work ethic with high level of self motivation and initiative.
- Derivatives and Structured Product Experience (particularly pricing, execution, marketing and sales).
- Basic analytical and technical skills that can be practically applied to day to day operations.
- Knowledge in Excel.
