Job Summary
The role designs and develops advanced electronic hardware, researches improvements and new solutions, and collaborates with cross-functional teams on product feasibility and performance.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Design and optimize advanced electronic circuits to meet performance and reliability targets from concept through product release.
- Design, develop, test, and document systems, subsystems, or components as part of an overall architecture.
- Apply current technology and research findings to engineering designs and design rules.
- Understand customer and market requirements and competitive alternatives while collaborating with global competence and research teams.
- Design and test subsystems or components and produce product and proposition specifications.
- Drive intellectual property creation and protection, including patents, trade secrets, and copyrights.
- Maintain development reports and project deliverables.
- Contribute to technology road mapping and provide coaching or mentoring depending on grade.
