Role overview
A sign, graphics, and display solutions company is seeking a Printing Machine Operator – Large Format with graphic design experience.
The role requires multitasking, organization, time management, attention to color and detail, and the ability to work independently or with a team.
Duties and responsibilities
- Complete daily production tasks including printing, file preparation, resizing, and layout preparation.
- Coordinate with production teams to meet client specifications and deadlines.
- Operate large-format printing machines and print-finishing equipment.
- Complete finishing work within allocated timeframes while meeting quality standards.
- Monitor printing processes and make adjustments as necessary.
- Inspect printed materials for quality, accuracy, and compliance with job specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot printing equipment issues.
- Maintain print-job records covering quantities, materials, and production issues.
- Follow safety guidelines and remain current on printing technology developments.
- Work different shifts, including nights and weekends, according to production schedules.
