Objective and Purpose
Lead the preparation, review, and execution of primary engineering activities for substation projects.
Support substation layout engineering and facilitate BIM 3D model development.
Design GIS substation layouts and provide inputs for drawing development.
Key Responsibilities
- Review drawings developed by draftsmen and coordinate equipment design clarifications with site execution and cluster teams.
- Coordinate design checks with civil and structural, MEP, and instrumentation disciplines.
- Ensure compliance with specifications and quality systems for 2D and 3D drawings and documentation.
- Review vendor offers and documents and perform pre-tender engineering, including BOM estimation and offer reviews.
- Prepare substation equipment sizing calculations, including busbars, UPS, DG, LT transformers, and earthing conductors.
- Review bills of material and compare them with tender quantities.
