Petrofac is seeking a Deputy Manager – Project Control based in Sharjah, UAE.

Primary Duties
- Develop project control systems and procedures at project start-up and when additional client requirements arise.
- Determine staffing requirements and allocate available resources across project phases.
- Lead the planning team in maintaining project control procedures, Level 1–4 schedules, and reporting systems.
- Prepare manpower histograms, progress S-curves, and other progress measurement systems.
- Monitor progress through weekly and monthly reports and resolve bottlenecks and scheduling conflicts.
- Coordinate internal and client reviews of schedules, progress measurement, and reporting systems.
- Keep the Project Director or Manager informed of progress and schedule adherence issues.
- Ensure field controls documents, resource histograms, reporting systems, commodity databases, and material control systems are implemented.
- Interface engineering and procurement activities with construction management and project controls.
- Conduct diagnostic studies, schedule risk analysis, and mitigation planning to support timely completion.
- Participate in department development and continual improvement activities.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Head of Department.
Minimum Requirements
- Graduate engineer with approximately 15–20 years of oil and gas industry experience.
- Experience with project execution and planning at head office and site level.
