The Dental Receptionist is the first point of contact for patients and visitors.

They are responsible for creating a welcoming environment, managing the front desk, coordinating appointments, handling administrative duties, and ensuring the smooth daily operation of the dental clinic along with basic Marketing knowledge.

Front Desk Operations

  • Greet and welcome patients in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and manage patient communication via email or messages.
  • Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments.
  • Manage patient check-in and check-out processes.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the reception area.

Patient Administration

  • Register new patients and update existing patient records.
  • Verify patient information and dental insurance details.
  • Collect payments, issue receipts, and manage billing inquiries.
  • Prepare and manage patient charts and documentation.
  • Coordinate with dental staff to ensure smooth patient flow.

Financial & Insurance Duties

  • Process insurance claims and pre-authorizations.
  • Track outstanding balances and follow up on overdue accounts.
  • Assist patients with insurance and payment-related questions.

Communication & Coordination

  • Liaise between patients and dental staff to ensure efficient service.
  • Communicate daily schedules and updates to the dental team.
  • Handle patient complaints or issues with professionalism and care.

Job Specification -

  • Educational Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent (additional certification in office administration is a plus).
  • Previous experience as a dental or medical receptionist preferred.
  • Knowledge of dental terminology and insurance procedures an advantage.
  • Proficiency in dental practice management software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or similar).
  • Must have some marketing skills like callings and basic promotion strategies.
  • Arabic Language is preferred
