Role Overview
- As a Demi Chef de Partie – Bakery, you will support daily operations of the bakery section by preparing high quality breads, pastries, viennoiserie, and other baked goods.
- You will ensure consistent product quality, maintain food safety and hygiene standards, and contribute to efficient operation of the bakery.
- You will also assist in supervising junior team members and help deliver bakery products meeting luxury hospitality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and bake a variety of breads, rolls, buns, pastries, croissants, and other bakery products according to standard recipes.
- Assist the Chef de Partie in daily operations of the bakery section.
- Ensure consistency in product quality, taste, texture, and presentation.
- Prepare, mix, shape, proof, and bake dough according to production schedules.
- Monitor fermentation, baking times, and product quality to achieve consistent results.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery section in compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and rotation of ingredients and finished products using FIFO procedures.
- Assist with inventory management, stock control, and minimizing food waste.
- Operate bakery equipment safely and report any maintenance issues.
- Support training and development of Commis Chefs and junior team members.
- Work collaboratively with the culinary team to meet daily production and service requirements.
- Comply with HACCP, health, safety, and company standards.

- Experience in bakery production in a luxury hospitality environment
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
