Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of food items according to standard recipes
- Support senior chefs in daily kitchen operations and mise en place
- Prepare ingredients by washing, cutting, chopping, and portioning as required
- Follow instructions from Commis I, Demi Chef de Partie, or Chef de Partie
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the assigned kitchen section
- Ensure compliance with HACCP, food safety, and hygiene standards at all times
- Properly store, label, and rotate food items using FIFO procedures
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and report any malfunctions
- Assist in receiving, storing, and organizing kitchen supplies and ingredients
- Minimize food waste and ensure efficient use of ingredients
- Support timely preparation of food during service periods
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations
Requirements
