About the Role

Responsibilities
- Prepare and bake a variety of breads, rolls, buns, pastries, croissants, and other bakery products according to standard recipes
- Assist the Chef de Partie in the daily operations of the bakery section
- Ensure consistency in product quality, taste, texture, and presentation
- Prepare, mix, shape, proof, and bake dough according to production schedules
- Monitor fermentation, baking times, and product quality to achieve consistent results
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery section in compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and rotation of ingredients and finished products using FIFO procedures
- Assist with inventory management, stock control, and minimizing food waste
- Operate bakery equipment safely and report any maintenance issues
- Support the training and development of Commis Chefs and junior team members
- Work collaboratively with the culinary team to meet daily production and service requirements
- Comply with HACCP, health, safety, and company standards
Requirements
- Experience in preparing and baking a variety of breads, pastries, viennoiserie, and other bakery products
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP)
- Ability to supervise and train junior team members
- Strong organizational and inventory management skills
