Responsibilities
- Actively share ideas, opinions and suggestions to improve the environment and menus
- Ensure consistency in preparation of all food items for a la carte and/or buffet menus according to property recipes and standards
- Communicate effectively with the rest of the team and thrive for guest feedback
- Assist the Chef de Partie in the daily operation of the assigned kitchen section
- Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to hotel recipes and quality standards
- Ensure all food is prepared and served in a timely and consistent manner
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and hygiene standards in accordance with HACCP and hotel policies
- Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory control and ordering
- Support the training and guidance of junior kitchen colleagues when required
- Work closely with the culinary team to ensure smooth kitchen operations and guest satisfaction
Requirements
- Culinary experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of food preparation and presentation standards
- Understanding of HACCP and hygiene standards
- Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively
